Day for Night is from the Kas Sluiter Vineyard in Mylor. This vineyard is on alluvial loam over clay and sand stone and sits at an altitude of 400m. The fruit was picked over a month in small parcels. We were looking to build acid backbone early, then to build mid-pallet and generosity in the later picks. Day for Night is a textural rose with generosity in the mid pallet, and fine tannins and lingering acidity. The nose is rose petals and red oranges. It is an aperitif rose that can be enjoyed with charcutery and pickles.
