Pompette translates to be pleasantly tipsy and comes from the land of wine, France! The Syrah (80%) for this wine was sourced from the Kas Sluiter Vineyard in Mylor, and the Pinot (20%) from the Piccadilly Vineyards.. The parcels were hand harvested and sorted before being destemmed. The fermentation was for 2 to 3 weeks. The elevage was for 10 months in fibre glass tanks. The Syrah and Pinot are complementary, with dark brambly fruits and violets in the Syrah and juicy Pinot Noir red fruits and providing ample natural acidity.
