Basket Town Chardonnay 2023

A$35.00
sold out

This year the parcels for Basket Town Chardonnay are from the Udys vineyard in Piccadilly Valley, The Commune of Buttons Vineyard, and from the Mylor Vineyard, Onkaparinga Valley. The grapes were hand harvested late March, each parcel was direct pressed. After settling overnight juice was transferred to barriques where wild fermentation took place, the elevage was for 9 months. The wine is saline and tightly bound. There is excellent texture and mouth feel from slow pressing and great focus and minerality from light extraction.
