Eurilla Pinot 2024
Eurilla Pinot is from two sights this year, the Aesctun Vineyard on south facing slopes of the northern ridge of the Piccadilly valley and Deanery vineyard on the east facing slopes at the southern end of the valley. After hand picking, the grapes were sorted and destemmed with 10% whole bunches. Fermentation was for 3 weeks and elevage was for 8 months in 3 year old barriques and 4 months in tank. Eurilla Pinot 2024 has bright natural acidity and is red fruited with intense dark cherries and bramble. There are pleasant savoury undertones of dry leaves and forest floor
